We offer comprehensive solutions, to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
With its roots in Montreal and its eyes on the international horizon, the Université de Montréal is one of Canada’s leading research universities. Together with its affiliated schools, the Polytechnique Montréal and HEC Montréal, it is Quebec’s leading university institution.
The institution draws young people from across the world, providing them the opportunity to study in French at one of the leading universities in the Americas. Its academic programs span the full spectrum of disciplines, which promotes interdisciplinary collaboration.
Thanks to this impressive network, UdeM has become a benchmark and, at times, a leader in a variety of fields such as medicine, artificial intelligence (AI), and aerospace.
Since its founding, the Université de Montréal has committed to fostering a research-friendly environment. This commitment has led to the emergence of a varied community of researchers, active across all major fields of knowledge. Irrespective of their specialization, every researcher has contributed to enhancing social development and well-being. Many of these researchers have made significant contributions to our world through their work, studies, and visionary insights.

Inaugural alumni banquet plays host to 2,000 guests within the as-yet-unfinished grounds of their alma mater.
Development Fund (later renamed the Office for Development and Alumni Relations) created. This is a pivotal moment in the university’s philanthropic history.
Following its 40th anniversary, the Development Fund undergoes a major overhaul, emphasizing alumni relations in a partnership with the UdeM Alumni Association (ADUM). The Fund gets a new name: the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
University staff now manage all ADUM operations, while the Association’s board serves the university’s leadership in an advisory and strategic capacity.
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations becomes the UdeM Alumni and Donor Community, to more accurately reflect values of altruism centered around knowledge and mutual support.
More than just a new title, this change heralds a profound shift that impacts alumni, donors, faculty, and the entire university community.
