American residents can qualify for a tax deduction for their donations. UdeM is certified by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c) 3 charitable organization (EIN: 23-7172320).

UdeM accepts most payment methods, with the exception of cash.
Make credit card payments:
Make your payment with a cheque: it’s a fast and easy way to contribute to the Université’s development.
This option allows you to spread your donation throughout the year and to set the frequency of automatic withdrawals from your bank account.
To use this payment method, please fill out your bank’s pre-authorized debit form. Remember to include a void cheque.
Submit the completed form and void cheque by mail, or visit our offices in person.
Donating publicly traded securities can significantly increase the amount and impact of your donation without costing you more. Doing so also has the advantage of being easy, tax-smart, effective, profitable, flexible, and of recognizing the donor.

For UdeM employees and retirees, we offer payroll or pension deductions. You can specify the deductible amount with each payroll cycle or pension disbursement. You will qualify for annual tax credits equal to the amount of your donation. To take advantage of this option, please print and fill out the form (in French only) provided for this purpose and send it to us via internal or regular mail, or drop it off in person.
Depending on the type and amount of your donation, you may be entitled to several tax benefits.
